Our Story

Blaq Alpha was a longtime vision that finally came into life during the 2020 pandemic. Created by our founder Kokouvi Occansey, a Togolese born entrepreneur who immigrated to Canada at the age of 12. Being a watch enthusiast who stood on the sideline for so long felt the need to bring something that was truly unique to the Canadian market. The very first Black Owned watch brand with affordable luxury inspired timepieces for the modern men and women.

Here at Blaq Alpha, we believe that watches should be more than just a tool to tell time. It should be a statement piece, a reflection of the person who wears it. That's why we put so much care and attention into the design and craftsmanship of our watches.

Our future goals is to be able grow and become a reference on the Canadian market by continuously offering quality watches to our valued customer.
